This session was oh so dear to my heart. When we did this session Lester was soon being deployed to Afghanistan. Being a mom of a military son myself that has been deployed I know how difficult it is to say good bye, how you miss them, how you worry about them, how you pray for their safe return. It was such an honor to be able to take these pictures and give something back to this family for their great sacrifice. Lester is still in Afghanistan today while his family waits for his safe return. I think of all of them so often. Thank you Lester for your service to our great country, it does not go unappreciated!! And thank you to Stephanie and their boys for being so brave in watching him go.
